ASOKA BUDDHIST TEMPLE

The temple of Asoka is one of China's five most important Buddhist temples. Located at the foot of mountain Yuji, it was built in 282 under the western Jin dynasty. It remained unchanged until a complete renovation in the early 1980 s. This place of worship is very famous because it has a reliquary of the bones of Sakyamuni, the present Buddha.
