You can take walks on the canals or Lake of the south. Wooden boats depart from the wharf south of the Tiyun Bridge. Some channels drive outside the city and surrounding lakes. We can then, with a little luck, observe the fishermen in full work and discover the fishing for birds, a traditional practice in the region.

Le plus connu, le plus fréquenté et le plus cher d'accès des villages lacustres de la région de Suzhou Difficile, sauf à bien maîtriser le chinois, d'éviter le forfait obligatoire "train + entrée du village" imposé à la gare de Suzhou pour la modique somme 22,50 euros par personne !!!
A voir toutefois en 2 heures, sans trop s'attarder dans les restaurants et les boutiques atteintes du syndrome "Mont St Michel/Carcassonne/Saint Paul-de-Vence/ Venise". Je préfère - et de loin - les villages voisins de Tongli, Nanxun et Xitang. On peut éviter la ballade en bateau et rester à musarder sur les berges.
