Probably the best Cantonese restaurant in Shanghai. Or at least the most luxurious. The history of Fook Lam Moon dates back to 1948, when Chief Chui Fook Chuen opened a catering restaurant in Hong Kong. Very quickly, he became the whooping cough of the great magnates of the archipelago. Since then, his sons have taken over, and in 2004 the Fook Lam Moon of the Hotel Shangri-La is the first restaurant in the chain to open in mainland China.
