This historic bakery has been interested in the specialties of the region since 1945. We love its slow-rising sourdough bread, its crispy ciabattas with soft crumb that come in many different varieties. The bakery also offers a few cakes that are well worth a visit. Jam and almond biscuits or pani'e saba are a must. The latter is the traditional cake of Quartu prepared for all festivities between All Saints' Day and Easter, based on dried fruit and grape must.
