This beautiful little address off the radar offers many Sardinian specialities, fresh fish and pizzas prepared on wood fire only in the evening. Fried squid, large prawns, crabs are part of the menu. The cosy room breathes a marine and coral atmosphere. Fan-shaped tablecloths and napkins, green plants and floral arrangements show a sense of detail.
RUBIU
Read moreThis freshly opened brasserie-restaurant, with its modern, industrial decor and view of the gleaming vats, won us over. It serves excellent pizzas, accompanied of course by the house beers brewed on site. The foams are almost organic, unfiltered and additive-free. But the cochonnailles served on a plank (as well as the cheeses) are truly succulent. Rubiu ("red" in Sardinian) is the story of three friends who are natives of the island, and they'll tell you the rest because they're so adorable.
