Museum presenting a fascinating series of giant statues of the Nuraghic site of Monte Prama

The museum chronologically retraces the ancient history of the region, from the Neolithic to the Roman period. Excavations carried out on the site of Cuccurru Is Arrius have uncovered 1,000 lead ingots from a Roman wreck. Many artifacts come from the ancient city of Tharros. But the flagship of the museum remains the fascinating series of giant statues from the Nuraghic site of Monte Prama, absolutely impressive stone "giants".

Super visite, peu de touristes en plus en moyenne saison. On imagine facilement le site à son âge d'or avec une telle vue.
