Neither heaven nor hell, Dani and Pier invite you to purgatory to taste a typical Gallura cuisine. The chef's talent is expressed in refined dishes with balanced flavours and very pleasant presentation. The pleasure of the palate begins with that of the eyes. The room is decorated with exposed stonework, but with a modern touch in the furniture to avoid the trap of rusticity. The ravioli with ricotta, sugar and lemon peel, accompanied by tomato sauce, are exquisite, as is the lamb with olives. Purgatory, really?

You only have to look at the window boxes and the flower pots around the door to know that you have arrived at the right place. Lost in a small alley in the city centre, near the tourist office, this charming address looks like a mountain refuge with its granite facade and its small openings. This is the place to come to taste some of the best specialities of the region. The owners will be happy to guide you in your choice of dish. The restaurant is located on the first floor, under the roof.

This friendly pizzeria is one of the good addresses that the inhabitants of Tempio Pausania all know. It is located on the outskirts of the old town, not far from the landmark building of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia. Don't let its unpretentious appearance fool you, the pizzas are excellent. The choice is varied, with also some Sardinian specialities, likethe seadas with honey. The queue that forms at dinner time is a good sign.

Right in the centre of town, this is a bistro for regulars, whose abundant and tasty cuisine rarely disappoints. The dishes, based on products from the Gallura region, allow you to discover the local flavours of the seasons: wild boar and mushrooms, braised meats, gnocchi with meat ragout, potato culurgiones and chocolate sweets. The setting perfectly matches the menu: rustic. A fine selection of local wines can be enjoyed with the meal, but also in the wine bar area, on a barrel.
