TRENINO VERDE

This tourist train runs in summer on the disused tracks of the Sardinian countryside and mountains. The old wooden wagon leaves Palau every day in the early hours of the morning and travels through the Gallura countryside towards Tempio Pausania. For about fifty kilometres, the landscape of hills covered with cork oaks and cistus or myrtle bushes, which stand out against the immaculate blue of the sky, passes by. The trenino climbs and descends the hills, skirting steep slopes, without faltering, and offers a pleasant bucolic ride.
