Very good local museum facing the ocean, where you can learn more about the region through permanent exhibits.
A very good local museum, facing the Indian Ocean, to learn more about the region. The three permanent exhibits are worth it. The gallery dedicated to the Mid West presents the natural history of the region, its relief, its fauna and flora, but especially information on the culture of the Yamaji, the local aboriginal people. The two other permanent collections retrace the great naval dramas: first, the loss of the HMAS Sydney with a remarkable reconstruction, and then, more ancient, the archaeological riches of four Dutch shipwrecks.

Musée très intéressant. Il y a une partie sur la faune et la flore australienne et surtout une partie très intéressante sur l'épave du HMAS Sydney (II) qui se trouvent maintenant à 2,500 mètres de profondeur au fond de l'océan. Et en plus l'entrée est gratuite.
