Greenough is a fully preserved pioneer village on the Highway, 25 km before Geraldton from Perth. Despite warnings from the Aborigines about the risk of flooding at the time of their settlement, the pioneers built this town 150 years ago. It flooded and many lost their possessions. A church, a school, a police station... everything has been restored to its original state. A good place for a coffee break. There's a museum 4 km from the village and on-site accommodation and catering.
