LA ROUTE DES VINS

Take the wine route to enjoy tastings (itinerary available at the tourist office) or book an organized tour. The first vineyard was established in 1967, in Vasse Felix (a vineyard to add to your itinerary!). Following its success, a number of winemakers settled in, a mixture of family businesses, such as Cherubino, with Spanish influence, or big brands, such as Cape Mentelle, now owned by Moët. They often have several grape varieties in the same vineyard, so you will see Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz cohabiting.
