Caversham Wildlife Park is a fantastic destination for animal lovers of all ages. The park boasts a diverse array of animals, from iconic kangaroos and cuddly koalas to exotic birds and reptiles. Informative shows provide valuable insights into Australia's unique wildlife, enhancing the experience.

The souvenir shop offers a great selection of mementos to commemorate your visit. Convenient vending machines ensure you stay refreshed throughout your exploration. The park's cleanliness and neatness create a pleasant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, enriching the experience with their expertise and passion for wildlife. However, the canteen offers only basic fare, which may leave some visitors wanting more variety in dining options. Overall, Caversham Wildlife Park provides an educational and entertaining day out, perfect for families and tourists alike.

Caversham Wildlife Park, nestled within Whiteman Park, offers a captivating experience with its diverse range of animals.

Arriving early is advisable to secure convenient parking and ensure a full day of exploration. We went on a weekday morning and ended up having to circle around a few times to find a parking space.

I would also recommend planning ahead by checking the day's schedule to prevent missing out on any desired attractions.
However, be prepared for potentially long queues, as ticket lines can grow, and popular events may sell out quickly, as observed by some events being fully booked by 10:00 am.

There are vending machines conveniently placed throughout the park for refreshmemts and if you get hungry, there is a small canteen with a prepared menu of sandwiches and a hand full of cooked meals that you can choose from. We ended up sharing a table with other guests as there were not many tables available at the canteen.

The park boasts a lovely gift shop with some of the best souvenirs we have come across.

Public restrooms are right by the entrance, and from what we saw, they are cleaned regularly.

Overall, Caversham Wildlife Park promises a memorable adventure for wildlife enthusiasts of all ages. Just remember to bring sunscreen and a hat.

We've been here in 2018, and came again recently (April 2024). The main attraction is definitely the kangaroos area. However, the kangaroos are not as lively and active as per our visit in 2018. There were more kangaroos back then. The food pellet provided are not yummy I guest, the kangaroos refuse feeding.

on the first day we came in the afternoon at 3.40 and they were already closed, the next day we came at 9.30 in the morning, and we saw a sheep shearing show, took photos with wombats and koalas, fed kangaroos

Absolutely brilliant, you can actually walk into a kangaroo enclosure and interact with koalas and kangaroos

Mostly very good, the koala “experience” was pretty trash, $35 to hold a koala for under a minute while you take a few photos and get rushed along the entire time, should really be advertised as a “hold a koala photo” besides that it’s superb.

Animals pacing around their tiny cages. Eagles and dingoes in cages. Seriously. It’s an eagle. Let it fly. It’s a dingo. Let it run. Don’t fund the continuation of places like these. It’s disgusting and depressing.

I took my granddaughter. We went to the farm show. We were amazed at how well all the animals were trained. It was an excellent show, very professionally presented. All the animals, both in the show and around the park generally, looked healthy and well cared for. We plan to go back again to see more. One afternoon is just nowhere near enough time to see it all.

Hier verblijven alleen Australische dieren. In sommige delen mag je ze voederen. Top locatie.

Love this place so much. I bought a separate ticket for a koala holding. It was so cute and soft???? Farm show was fun and informative. I spent about 4 hours there.

We really enjoyed our visit especially the farm show. The children love the close encounter with the kangaroos, wallabies and farm animals.

Has to be one of the best animal experiences in Perth. So tranquil and you get so close to the animals. The shows are great too

Amazing wildlife park every time I come here with my family, we love it. Great for the kids. especially the farm section. Nocturnal rooms are my favourite

One of our favourites in Perth. We didn’t manage to get up close with a wombat because we were late, so do go early!

Seeing and being able to touch the koalas was a highlight for sure!

Pity the vending machine ate up our coins - Au$2.50 worth - for a drink. Not a dealbreaker but might need looking in. Using a credit card is much more effective.

Still! We very much enjoyed ourselves seeing the various animals including a big area to really be around birds and joeys. That was really unique!
