Founded in 1817 by rancher and politician Thomas Archer, Woolmers Estate is one of 11 Australian convict sites on the World Heritage List, alongside the neighboring Brickendon Estate. In the 19th century, the farm used manyconvicts for agricultural work. The site offers 3 historic cottages for rent, which have been transformed into luxurious accommodations equipped with all modern conveniences. The estate is also home to the Rose Garden, with over 460 varieties of roses.
