It took 500 million years of rain, wind and pounding waves to create these aptly named granite rocks that are now part of Flinders Chase National Park. It is now one of the island's must-see sites and you'll soon see why! Many of the rocks are covered with golden orange lichen and interpretive signs describe the formation of the rocks in even greater detail. Black mica, bluish quartz and pinkish feldspar make up most of the granite at Remarkable Rocks.

Des rochers d'une taille impressionnante, résultat d'une érosion naturelle par l'océan. Vous aurez une idée de la taille des "rocks" en regardant ma photo avec 2 personnes.

Lieu de passage incontournable sur Kangaroo Island. Des rochers immenses, aux formes surprenantes, sur un promontoire au-dessus de la mer. Leur couleur orangée est magnifique en fonction de l'éclairage. Le site est plus petit que je ne e l'imaginais.
