Neo-Gothic building designed by architects George Klewitz Soward and Thomas English on the corner of King William Street.
Located at the corner of King William Street and Rundle Mall, Beehive Corner is a neo-Gothic building built in 1895 by architects George Klewitz Soward and Thomas English. This large commercial building has been occupied since 1922 by a chocolate store (Haigh's Chocolates). The corner turret of Beehive Corner is topped by a beehive and a giant bee. It's a historical site in the city and even a landmark! Be sure to stop by, especially after dark when the lighting makes it stand out even more.
