Exceptionally rich museum in Alice Springs illustrating the history of the country's women and their contribution to the nation.

The Women's Museum of Australia collects, preserves and democratizes the history of Australia's women and their contribution to the nation. It exemplifies the concept of "Herstories": the feminization of history and its enhancement. The museum is exceptionally rich, although it's a shame it doesn't feature more Aboriginal women, and remains mainly a celebration of whiteoutback women. Well worth a visit.
