This site, which is the departure point for a number of tourist cruises, offers a prodigious view of Darwin Harbour.

You can walk to Stokes Hill Wharf quite easily from the Waterfront. Many tourist cruises leave from there, but it is also a good place for a meal. The food is not great, except for the fresh local fish and seafood (it is mandatory to indicate the origin of these products in the NT), but the atmosphere is pleasant, with very nice views of Darwin Harbour, especially during the storm season when you can observe their formation. A very good option to get some fresh air.
