ANIMAL BAR

Located in the middle of the city's motel (Karumba Lodge Hotel), this sea view bar built its reputation when the port was home to more trawlers and there was no police station. If Animal Bar is now much calmer, it has not lost its character... Some say that the song called "Animal Bar" by the famous American band Red Hot Hot Chilli Peppers, whose bassist is Australian, refers to this bar and the Karumba region.
