Housed in a historic building dating from 1936, this gallery offers exhibitions by Australian and local artists, reflecting the region's rich cultural and artistic heritage. The exhibitions, featuring exceptional collections of a wide variety of artworks, are regularly updated. The museum store offers an excellent selection of souvenirs. The café at the entrance to the gallery, "Perrotta's at The Gallery" (open daily from 6.30am to 9pm) is very popular with locals for its ambience and authentic Italian cuisine.
