Owner's Message
Sail, snorkel and dive the Great Barrier Reef with Cairns' friendliest operator. Get up close to a Maori wrasse or follow a turtle through the reef's colourful coral and crystal clear waters.
Passions of Paradise runs daily departures from Cairns to the Great Barrier Reef. Each day we offer a two day itinerary with two destinations carefully selected from a selection of 24 spots.
Activities include snorkelling and scuba diving. Full snorkeling courses are provided and our staff are available to offer a free 10-minute introduction to scuba diving for beginners. Our staff take the utmost care of them and are always very patient. For more experienced divers, we also have a special diving offer that allows access to deeper waters.
Lunch is served on board by our chef and includes a selection of hot and cold meats, salads, shrimps and fresh tropical fruits. Vegetarians are not to be outdone and special diets or allergies can be catered for on request.
After lunch we head to the second destination of the day. This location offers a second cycle of activities in the water. Our staff remains available to provide assistance and advice to the divers. Our day ends with our captain hoisting the sails, signalling the start of the return cruise back to Cairns. Passengers can then enjoy the bar with its refreshing drinks and relax on our net, while our ecologically-minded staff are on hand to provide information about marine life.
They were adorable from beginning to end. They give us many explanations and attentive least questions. It is really the cruise for people who are not very reinsured.
The atmosphere is very pleasant.
As for Michaelmas Cay, it is a small sand bank in the heart of the sea, thousands of birds find refuge are very impressive. The water is turquoise and you can see multicoloured fish and enormous tuna of the boat.
It was a very good experience that I would recommend without doubt!
