Former prison offering modern theatrical performances and immersive exhibitions recounting the brutality of prison life

Old Dubbo Gaol is a former 19th-century prison that lets you explore the conditions and brutality of prison life, daring escapes and the site's legacy, delivered in a mix of theatrical performances and modern immersive exhibits. Night-time entertainment is also available from AU$ 40, as are costumed actors and extras on weekends at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. who will help you relive the atmosphere that reigned here from 1859 to 1966.
