80 m high massive rectangular basalt monolith with a panoramic view of almost 360°
This rocky peak can be spotted from the air, as it is a massive rectangular basalt monolith 80 m high, rising to 1,810 m and standing vertically on a pebbly mountain, contrasting with the forest below. The rock was of great cultural importance to the Guanches, who venerated it. To get there, the walk from the parking lot through the pine forest to the summit takes 30-45 minutes. On arrival, the scenery is spectacular, with virtually 360° panoramic views. In front of you is the Teide peak on Tenerife.

Je vous conseille de faire cette randonnée vers 14-15h ( 3 bonnes heures de randonnée) et ensuite prenez votre voiture pour aller admirer le coucher de soleil au Pico de las Nevies ( sommet de l'île)....superbe coucher de soleil!
