It is surely the most emblematic pre-Hispanic site in La Palma because it was in Belmaco that the first petroglyphs of the Canary Islands were discovered in the 18th century. And this site has become a place of study for many archaeologists. Today, ten natural caves with rock engravings can be visited. They were probably occupied for many years by the Benaoharitas. ressentir leur présence
dans un site naturel à la fois étrange et magnifique, d'où ont aperçoit l'océan, le musée offre un chemin de découverte autour de lieux ayant été habités et exploités par les Guanches. Il y a des pétroglyphes, bien sûr, mais les explications fournies permettent de mieux comprendre leur mode de vie, et presque de ''ressentir leur souffle''
