Museum with exhibitions on traditional crafts from El Hierro in Valverde.
The four rooms of this small museum focus on the traditional crafts of the island through different exhibitions. Dealing with its expertise in the treatment of iron, textile, wood and earth. There will be a lot of pieces from all over the island of El Hierro. And as this craft is still alive, a small shop gives you an idea of the current achievements. Something to take home as a souvenir.

visite indispensable
un petit musée ethnographique comme on les aime, dans un beau bâtiment ancien bien restauré , au milieu d'un jardin depuis lequel on aperçoit l'océan 650 m plus bas. Les collections résument bien l'histoire et le mode de vie des habitants de l'ile , notamment depuis le 19ème siècle. La visite est comprise dans le ''pass'' que propose l'office de tourisme , et qui permet d'aller voir des lieux auxquels on n'aurait pas pensé
