A hillock located in Puy-Saint-Gulmier, with a superb panoramic view of the Combrailles region.

At the heart of the commune of Puy-Saint-Gulmier stands an imposing mound where a château once stood. It was destroyed by fire in the early 17th century and subsequently fell into ruin. Today, the hilltop is topped by a few houses and a church with a slate roof and a terrace bell tower. The main attraction of the site is the superb panorama it offers over the Combrailles, bounded to the west by the chain of volcanoes. An orientation table reveals the extent of the area.
