COMMUNITY LIBRARY

The building and its façade are already worth a visit. The municipal library is housed in a magnificent neoclassical house that belonged to a large family, the Zoulinos, in the 19th century. Come in and have a look around if you have a few minutes. Inside you can see post-Byzantine icons made between the 15th and 19th centuries. The municipal library has become a real museum where the memory of the island is preserved since it has resisted the various earthquakes that have shaken and destroyed part of Lefkada.
