A beautiful monastery with a Byzantine museum and a beautiful view of the bay, in Paleokastritsa.

Situated on the promontory of the small peninsula, it offers a beautiful view over the bay, where the water is of rare clarity. Built in the 13th century, it was completely renovated in the 18th century. The white monastery with its beautiful red-tiled domes is a must-see. It's a feast for the eyes: intricate architecture, interlocking staircases and covered passageways lead to flower-filled courtyards. Inside, a small Byzantine museum.

En haut de la colline
On peut aller en voiture jusqu'au monastère, la parking est gratuit ainsi que la visite du monastère. C'est un petit monastère authentique. Du monastère, il y a une belle vue et on perçoit le château d'Angelokastro.

It is free. You have to climb With a car or walking at least 200 meters. If you go by car considerando you have to watch a lot at the traffic light and that at the top it is very difficult to find parking but Just 30 meters down there is another parking space. I love the bones of a whale in The museum and The flowers in The garden.
