Backed by a small pine forest, a rustic place in its own right. Some classics of Greek and Cephalonian cuisine: traditional meat pie, local sausages stuffed with cheese or lamb stuffed with prunes, apricots and raisins. A vegetarian menu is also available. And while you're at it, don't miss the delicious desserts, especially the walnut cake. But if you're looking for less traditional fare, the owners also run the Symposium on the Beach, which serves predominantly Italian cuisine.

Nice place only used it twice, we had breakfast their on 2 morning during our stay it was lovely would defo go again if we travelled to skala again

What a disappointment. Whilst the service was very friendly and professional, the food was a big disappointment. I had the fried calamari to start and whilst some pieces were ok the majority were too chewy so I left half of the dish. I should say it's a very generous portion but what's the point if you can't eat it. I then had the fish and chips. I found the fish to be very strong and couldn't finish it. I was told it's "Codfish" which I'm not familiar with so maybe that's just me ????????♂️ My wife had the Stifado which was ok but some of the meat was overcooked. Given the other reviews we were really surprised by our own experience.
