Backed by a small pine forest, a rustic place in its own right. Some classics of Greek and Cephalonian cuisine: traditional meat pie, local sausages stuffed with cheese or lamb stuffed with prunes, apricots and raisins. A vegetarian menu is also available. And while you're at it, don't miss the delicious desserts, especially the walnut cake. But if you're looking for less traditional fare, the owners also run the Symposium on the Beach, which serves predominantly Italian cuisine.

We spent a fabulous week in Skala in July this year & visited this restaurant for morning coffee, a lovely cool beer in the afternoon & a couple of evening meals. The staff were amazing, attentive, polite so friendly & helpful with advice on local wines & food. The menu is so extensive & the food prepared to an exceptional standard. I can only say that the roasted boneless leg of lamb served with plums, apricots, raisins & pine nuts served in a beautiful rich sauce still has me entranced. We shall travel to skala again from Britain if only to eat here again. Thankyou so much for all of your efforts, they really are appreciated !!

Fantastic restaurant, great food, good size portions and great prices. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable regarding the menu and wines. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
