Feta lamb, served in a puff pastry crust with tomatoes, peppers and aromatic herbs, is a real delight. Unless you prefer iodized specialities, in which case fresh grouper with shrimp and seafood are also worth a visit. For the record: the owner's grandfather was French ambassador to Rhodes. The welcome is impeccable and we speak French. The terrace is a must: in short, this restaurant has been a sure bet for many years.

This beach restaurant is a must in Lindos. You'll be sure to stop off here during a swimming session on the village's main beach. Deckchairs are available to guests free of charge. All the Greek classics are on offer in the kitchen, even if the tourist pressure doesn't make it a first-rate establishment. But the setting makes up for a break on the beach, if only for a drink or a coffee with your feet in the water.

Of all the rooftops in Lindos, this one particularly appeals to us. Firstly, for the view it offers, probably one of the most beautiful in the village. Then there's the ambience of the place, which is hushed and quiet when the restaurant is open, then gradually transforms into a rooftop bar. The dishes are not to be outdone, well-crafted and elegantly served, not to mention the exquisite cocktails. The establishment is run by Théo, a former DJ, which explains the permanent presence of a DJ at the turntables, and special guests on Fridays and Saturdays. A great place to eat or party.

One of the best restaurants in Lindos, it sprawls over three floors, but you won't be disappointed by the climb once you reach the top: the view of the Acropolis is memorable. Preferably go there at dusk and enjoy the panorama from the rooftop. The dishes are not disappointing either: we recommend that you share with several of the mezzedes. They are excellent, copious and more economical. The atmosphere at Stephany's Taverna is relaxed and friendly. Favour the place to spend a warm evening with a view.

Michalis and his family run L'Olympia and its sublime roof terrace, overlooking the entire city, from where you can admire the ramparts of the fortress, the acropolis and the sea. Mediterranean cuisine inspired by Greek and Italian culinary traditions - Michalis' wife is from Italy. The homemade wines are very correct. It is not necessarily easy to find, as always in the maze of Lindos: from the main square, go to the church of the Virgin Mary, then to the right and always straight ahead towards the amphitheatre.

The reputation of the Mavrikos restaurant is well established: it's known all over the island, well beyond the limits of Lindos. David Gilmour of Pink Floyd used to eat here when he visited the village. This pretty restaurant stands in stark contrast to the more touristy spots in the main square. This family, in the kitchen for over 75 years, offers a Rhodian cuisine with innovative touches - not necessarily inexpensive, and a little disappointing of late... But the course has been maintained. Also worth noting is the wide variety of vegetarian dishes.

Caesar's has one of the most beautiful terraces in Lindos. It has an ideal swimming pool to relax while sipping a delicious cocktail and sharing delicious mezzedes facing the sunset. After a day of walking, cultural visits or intensive beach, what could be better? Here, the small dishes to share, the mezzedes therefore, are classics of traditional Greek cuisine, which have been revisited in a gourmet version. The welcome and service are worthy of a great restaurant, do not miss it: you are guaranteed to fall in love with it.

This elegant restaurant is located in a small alleyway in Lindos. No terrace, but a hushed, chic atmosphere, combining tradition and modernity. The owner, Georges, takes great care to ensure impeccable, professional service. The cuisine is top-notch and very good value for money, given the dishes on offer. Once again, a special effort is made to combine traditional recipes with a contemporary approach. An establishment that has won praise far beyond Lindos' borders.

Located in a traditional house with a pleasant shaded courtyard, Broccolino is a very friendly Italian restaurant. Elia and Cristina left their native Italy to open this warm restaurant where Emilia Romagna's cuisine is in the spotlight. Fresh pasta, shrimp or fish tartars depending on the arrival of the day, gnocchi with truffles and provolone, tiramisu for dessert and Italian wines in glasses.... It is a delicious culinary stay in Italy that you will find in the heart of Lindos. Finally, the cocktails are delicious.

Dimitri and Flora, the owners of this tasty restaurant, have settled in one of the oldest captain's houses in Lindos. The building dates back to the very early 17th century: admire the traditional pebble mosaic floors. The restaurant has a good location: opt for an outdoor table on the terrace overlooking the citadel and the acropolis. It's so romantic! Traditional flavours, seafood dishes and fresh local fish. Excellent homemade desserts too, and a very good wine list.

Cooking a burger may seem easy, but the Burger Lab takes its art a step further. First, the quality of the ingredients is impeccable, with buns and breads prepared and baked on site. Then with sweet potato fries that rival no less tasty truffle fries. Finally, with sophisticated burgers: try the salmon burger, a gustatory masterpiece with black bread buns. To enjoy this, a nice white courtyard or a rooftop with a breathtaking view of the acropolis and the church tower.

This chic, luxurious restaurant offers top-notch Mediterranean and Greek cuisine, admittedly more expensive than the average in Lindos (itself inflated in the village's restaurants due to the influx of tourists), but well worth it for the quality of the dishes and ingredients on offer. You'll appreciate the sober decor, which gives way to the traditional architecture of the whole place: the pebble mosaic floors are magnificent, as are the views over the rooftops. Reservations are essential if you want a table after 6pm.

Akres opened a few years ago in a beautiful traditional building that has been magnificently renovated in a sleek, elegant contemporary style. The house prides itself on bridging the gap between tradition and the avant-garde, right down to its kitchens, which offer classics of Rhone gastronomy, successfully revisited by chefs who dare to mix new ingredients in a thoroughly modern approach. The result is a gastronomic experience of the highest quality, all in a sumptuous setting with a view of the Acropolis to boot.

Overlooked by the rock of the Acropolis, this beach establishment spreads out its tables and deckchairs over the small bay of Saint-Paul, south of Lindos. The setting is exceptional, which explains the inflated prices (especially for deckchairs rented by the day). But the quality of the place is no less high, with a tasty menu, a boho chic aesthetic that's been all the rage for the past few years, and the opportunity to swim and dine in one of the island's most beautiful spots.
