Since 2011, Jani and Linda have been serving local, family-style food based on grilled meats and seafood dishes, not forgetting the inevitable gyros. It's a simple, warm atmosphere in which to spend a pleasant moment with family and friends. The dishes have moved upmarket in recent years, and what was once a simple taverna is now a fine restaurant.

Choose the fisherman's tray to share, or a selection of dishes, also to share, including the excellent saganaki of mussels or shrimps. It's delicious, and the setting, facing the ruins of Sainte-Marie-du-Bourg church, is the icing on the cake!

From breakfast to dinner, ONO by Marouli has managed to offer travelers what was sorely lacking in Rhodes: good, healthy, delicious and rather inexpensive food. The menu changes regularly and is inspired by Israeli cuisine, which knows how to combine flavors, veganism and fresh produce. On the drinks front, the house cocktails and lemonade are well worth the detour. Brunch is a must for a good start to the day.
