Superb archeological site with superb view overlooking the beautiful beaches of Kamari and Perissa.
A beautiful archaeological site at the top of the mountain overlooking the beautiful beaches of Kamari and Perissa, sometimes compared to a "little Pompeii". From Perissa, after a 40-minute walk or drive from Kamari, you will arrive at the site of the ancient Thera: remains of the agora, the gymnasium, the temples and the sanctuaries of this city founded in the 8th century B.C. and which knew its apogee at the time of the Ptolemies and its decline in the Roman period.

Petite visite à faire quand il ne fait pas tres chaud car pas d'ombre... de nombreux vestiges mais peu d'explications c'est un peu dommage... beau panorama sur l'ile, on peut admirer les plages du sud est depuis le site!
