This restaurant, opened in 1999, is located below the pedestrian street, right after the square near the main church. Ambrosia means "divine food". It is best to book, because the tiny terrace that overlooks the caldera directly counts only about twenty hedges. Greek fusion kitchen. Pasta, salads, fish, vegetarian dishes prepared with local produce.

We booked this restaurant on our honeymoon and were a bit disappointed with the experience for what we paid! Easily our most expensive meal yet, our table was tucked into a tiny corner of the restaurant with a surprising lack of views, the service was excellent but we didn’t feel it to be worth the extensive price we paid.

This place is amazing. You won’t get dinner views like this very many places in the world. The food was fantastic and the servers were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend as a splurge dinner when you find yourself in Santorini.

El lugar es único, romántico, con la mejor vista al mar y pueblo de OIA, no podría describir la explosión de sabores que encontré en sus creaciones gastronómicas, como el mejor plus que ofrece Ambrosia, cada plato que llega a la mesa es mejor que el anterior y es una sensación de ambiente, servicio, atención, sabor y vista que combinados con el clima y atmósfera del lugar hacen imposible describir una cena que no tuvo ningún límite, bueno todo se circunscribe a decir un único, elegante, delicioso e irrepetible momento en AMBROSIA. Beautiful setting but we were seated in close proximity to other couples to get that truely romantic experience.

Our waiter was very good but towards the end, after the table was cleared, dessert & coffee was not offered which made us feel a little uneasy? So we got up, requested the bill & still tipped 10% but sourced dessert elsewhere.
