This basilica has a transept topped by a lantern dome.
Basilica founded in the 12th century. Above the south portal are irons and chains left by prisoners freed by the Virgin Mary. Inside: a nave with bays, a barrel vault and aisles with tribunes. The transept is topped by a lantern cupola. The choir, with ambulatory and radiating chapels, houses a wooden statue covered in silver and vermeil. Guided tours and virtual tours with tablet are offered by the Tourist Office.
