Hotel offering 27 rooms with a view of the Aegean Sea.
This is a very popular and popular place. Halfway between Chora and Mylopotas, the hotel offers 27 rooms with a view of the Aegean Sea. As a bonus, the swimming pool is also very pleasant. Be careful though: the hotel's double rooms don't offer a double bed but two single beds. Maybe it's to limit the noise that young people already make at night. For all intents and purposes, the Piperri Tapas and Meze tavern (behind the creperie in the village) has special offers for hotel guests.

Nick the owner of the hotel was so nice and welcoming as well as helpful. We were there on a party holiday and he was always up early into the morning to make sure we were okay coming home from a night out in the town.
The hotel itself was great, the food was lovely and the pool with an accompanying bar was great.
All the staff were so friendly and we felt at home during our 6 night stay there.
The location is great, perfectly in between the town and the beach, Nick was also great in that he collected us from the port and dropped us back down on the days of our arrival and departure.
I would give Hermes a glowing recommendation, everyone we knew seemed to gather there during the day regardless of where they were staying because it was the best place to be.
If you are planning a holiday to Ios, stay in Hermes.
