BEACHES

There is a fine sandy beach just next to the port but often crowded. We recommend the beach of Valmas, a small very quiet cove where the water is very pure. To get there, take the white stairs after Ios Camping and follow the small path for about 20 minutes. You will find a tavern where you can eat. Towards the north of the bay, you can reach the more select beaches of Tzamaria and Koumbara. Here, the trendy Erego Beach Club beach bar rents deckchairs and parasols and offers refreshments and meals.
