In 2019, Stéphanie Vigier fell in love with this large manor house in the heart of nature. Entirely renovated, she has designed it first and foremost as a place of welcome, sharing and conviviality. She has created spacious, comfortable and charming guest rooms, as well as a cozy gîte. Generous breakfasts featuring local produce, 3,500 m² of wooded parkland, a fitness room and plenty of walks in the surrounding area... This is the ideal place to recharge your batteries. Stéphanie lives on site and enjoys sharing moments with her guests.

Owner's Message
After more than 25 years working in sales and marketing, and fed up with life in an urban area, I decided in 2019 to get closer to my Lozère roots and my values.
Having long had a strong taste for calm and nature, my choice fell on a beautiful 60s building where life is good.
And so, after 3 years of renovation, Gites Les Sorbiers was born!
My home, nestled in the heart of the Auvergne volcanoes and on the edge of woods and hiking trails, is ideal for this lifestyle choice, which I happily share with my 2 4-legged companions: Paillette and Happy.

Passionate about hiking and in love with our Auvergne trails, I'll do my best to guide you.
Quiet, in a green setting, and close to most of the remarkable sites in the Puy de Dôme mountain range (Vulcania, the Puy de Dôme, the Charade circuit, the Lemptéry volcano, the Pariou, etc. ...), but also Volvic, the Gergovie plateau, and just 15 minutes by car from the historic center of Clermont Ferrand.
A complete break from your daily routine awaits you here, in a relaxed, family atmosphere where sharing and smiles are the order of the day.
The gite comprises :
3 guest rooms: Les chambres " Poésie " and " feuillage ", double rooms of 14m2 each, with a 160 cm bed, bathroom with WC, TV, wifi, and all the comforts that go with it.
1 triple room of 25m2 "Mother Nature" with the same equipment + 1 single bed of 90cm.
1 independent gite of 53m2, with 2 bedrooms, a large living room of 25 m2, and a south-facing terrace, available by the week in high season or for longer stays in low season.
Upon reservation, I offer hearty home-cooked breakfasts to give you the energy you need to explore the region!

Detached 53 m² gite with 2 bedrooms, a large 25 m² living room and a south-facing terrace, available by the week in high season or for extended weekends out of season.
On reservation, for the guest rooms, copious home-made breakfasts, to give you the energy you need to explore the region!
Local products: viennoiserie and bread from the Puy de Farine bakery in Orcines... Charcuterie and cheese from the Fromagerie et Epicerie du Village Auvergnat in Orcines... Home-made cake...
