NORTHWESTERN BEACHES

The northern beaches are the most beautiful of the west coast and of Syros in general. All these beaches offer crystal clear waters. Varvaroussa. The first beach after Delfini has no trees and therefore offers no shade. Aetos is a small cove with a single tree. Lia, a wide sandy beach, shaded and planted with tamarisk trees. Cosmos also known as Agios Fokas is a small treeless beach with a makeshift shelter. Marmari has no trees and is a little more exposed to the wind. The American beach is quite wide and very shady.
