Boutique-hotel in a historical setting in Ermoupolis, 2 minutes from the bus station and near the port.

Completely renovated in 2013, this historic building was in turn a coal warehouse, the headquarters of the Italian police force and a meeting house. Now it is a neoclassical "boutique hotel" full of charm, just a stone's throw from the landing stage. The location is ideal for taking the ferry, strolling around the city or climbing to Ano Syros. The bus station is 2 minutes away and the ferry port is also nearby. It remains quiet thanks to excellent exterior soundproofing despite the immediate proximity of the ferry port and a busy road.

Beautiful establishment right smack dab in the middle of charming Ermoupolis. Front desk clerk was especially pleasant, welcoming and accommodating to this tired traveller. Water bottle (Greek brand, not Coca Cola “Avra”) in the room fridge is also thoughtful. (Can’t understand why all hotels don’t spend the extra pennies to provide this.) Pleased to see that body wash and shampoo were Greek products (Papoutsanis) but upset to see that the little soaps were Chinese made. Because air conditioning system is central (not individual heat pumps) I didn’t have the option of using the AC. Front desk informed me that they hadn’t “switched over” yet ????)

Ήρθαμε εκπαιδευτική εκδρομή, ήταν όλα υπέροχα! Βρίσκεται σε πολύ ωραία τοποθεσία, το πρωινό ήταν πολύ πλούσιο, Η ρεσεψιόν πολύ εξυπηρετική, γενικά όλα τέλεια.

Η εξυπηρέτηση ήταν πολύ καλή, σε ό,τι χρειάστηκε. Τα δωμάτια είναι λίγο μικρά. Σε κάποια από αυτά οι ντουζιέρες είναι ειδικά φτιαγμένες για να προσέχουμε τη σιλουέτα μας. Αναρωτιέμαι αν κάποιος έχει κάποια περισσότερα κιλά, πόσος κόπος θα χρειαστεί για να μπει στη ντουζιέρα και να κάνει μπάνιο;. Για την τοποθεσία το σώζει ότι είναι ακριβώς δίπλα στο λιμάνι που αράζει το πλοίο. Θέα έχουν μόνο τα μπροστινά δωμάτια αλλά δεν μπορείς να τα έχεις όλα
