The island is connected to Kythnos by the beaches of Kolona and Fikiada.
Linked to Kythnos by the beaches of Kolona and Fikiada and a narrow strip of sand, this islet is dotted with archaeological remains dating back to Roman times. It sheltered the agora of a very extensive ancient city since its center was located about 3 km to the south, where you will see the remains of Vriokastro. Today, a chapel dedicated to Saint Luke dominates the islet. The beach of Kolona is essentially a narrow strip of golden sand that connects Kythnos with the islet. However, it has a special charm, hemmed by the sea on both sides.
