VILLAGE OF VOURKARI

2 km northeast of Korissia (25 minutes by foot), this pretty little fishing village is easily accessible from the main port. However, you will not find a beach here as Vouraki is mainly used as an anchorage for yachts and other beautiful sailing ships (20 berths), which has led to some tourist development. You can eat in one of the three taverns that offer good fish dishes, including a local bouillabaisse. Strofi tou Mimi, at the crossroads of the road leading to Otzias, is also a good option.
