The name of this bar-restaurant (ΜεΖέν) means "with zen" and evokes the mezzés offered here in iodized and creative versions: fish sausage on cucumber kimchi, smoked mackerel with fava and black garlic honey, fried shrimp with "spetzofaï" ketchup, shrimp or fish ceviche, braised octopus with sweet potato... All served with good, little-known tsipouros and ouzos and beers from Volos' Plastiga microbrewery. Service at the bar, in the dining room or on the terrace in the neighboring alley. Closed second half of August.
