Church of the XI century in Achios Germanos.
Take a look at the church of Saint-Germain, which dates back to the 11th century. Its dome rests on four pillars and forms at its base a square with rounded corners and not a perfect circle like Saint Sophia in Thessaloniki. The white coating that now covers it prevents us from appreciating its exterior architecture. This church is next to a basilica dedicated to the same saint. An inscription indicates that the church underwent three phases of construction. Of particular note is the fresco decorating the apse overlooking the original entrance to the church to the south.
