CINÉMA OLYMPION
This handsome cinema (Κινηματογράφος Ολύμπιον/Kinimatografos Olympion) has occupied one of the two arched buildings on Aristotelous Square since 1972. It has two halls with 672 and 192 seats. The second is named after Pavlos Zannas (1929-1989), founder of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, which is held here and at Pier 1 in early November. The rest of the time, with the exception of the Documentary Film Festival (in March), foreign films are shown here in VO, as well as Greek cartoons and a few Greek films.
