It is a striking little bastion of grey stones hung in the void. The very well marked path leads to this 15th century monastery which looks like a strange curiosity hanging from the cliff from where the view is breathtaking. If you go there in the early morning or early evening when the sun is still present, the moment is magical... On July 26, Saint Paraskevi's Day, it is the village festival, and it is from there that the procession starts.

un charme fou
Facile d'accès par le village et seulement à 1,5 km départ près de la taverne par un sentier bien fléché et recouvert de pavés, dès l'arrivée devant le monastère vous serez sous le charme de l'endroit, encaissé dans les gorges de Vikos en contrebas, avec le monastère sis sur un promontoire du plus effet.. Belle petite chapelle ornée d'icones .

La visite vaut autant par le point de vue sur l'extrémité des gorges que par le monastère lui-même mais l'atmosphère de calme et l'agréable petite marche qui y conduit justifient largement la visite.
