The best restaurants Érétrie – Eretria

A good restaurant near the sea with a nice shaded terrace. You will be with your feet in the water, almost literally, which gives this restaurant with its Italian accents an extra romantic feel. The menu is more Greek than the name of the establishment suggests but does not disappoint: gavros (anchovies), sardines and grilled octopus are on the menu. The menu is in Greek, English and French. There is plenty of choice with quality products. Perfect reception and service, professional and friendly.

Completely renovated since April 2019 and with a new management, this establishment is a very good place to have a coffee, a snack or a small meal. The pastries and pastries are remarkable.

As its name suggests, this elegant tavern is located on the Amarynthos waterfront (at the entrance to the village, 7 km from Eretrie). The tables are by the sea, isolated from the (relative) agitation of the waterfront and offer the possibility to dive into the water before, during or after. The food comes from across the street too. We recommend the fish of the day, mostly not farmed, and you can choose it in the kitchen (by the kilo), depending on your budget.
