Visit the Thebes Archaeological Museum and admire the artifacts unearthed at all the sites in the area.

The museum brings together objects found at all the sites in the region. Before entering, we will see many fragments of funeral stelae, such as monumental lions and horses. The entrance hall houses a superb altar in pentallic marble as well as a beautiful sarcophagus representing a scene with Iphigenia. Funerary stelae are engraved with long texts, precious testimonies of the civilization of the time: stele no. 86 bears an engraved speech by Nero while stele no. 88 pays tribute to three generals of the battle of Leuctres against Sparta.
