In the rue Paleologou and following it to the left, you arrive at the foot of the old acropolis. The surrounding wall dates from the 3rd and 4th centuries and was built to protect the city from barbaric invasions. Inside the walls, we can see the remains of a theatre that lost its stands used during the construction of Mystra. Behind the theatre, the remains of a sanctuary dedicated to Athena. Similarly, outside the ramparts, on the other side of the main road to Tripoli, the foundations of a sanctuary dedicated to Artemis Orthia.

Je recommande à 100% ce site pour son histoire ainsi que pour sa beauté. L'entrée est gratuite (c'est un site publique, comme un parc), et on a une très belle balade à faire sur le site. Des explications sur les panneaux font la balade encore plus impressionnante. Un peu difficile de trouver un parking par contre.
