A charming, nonchalant and rejuvenating getaway near Athens for a dip in the blue sky and lake.
During the 1960s and 1970s, young people came here from Athens to sleep under the stars on the shores of the lake. Today, nothing seems to have changed, and one discovers a picture of Epinal of Greece: white chapels and pontoons, low houses painted with lime, fish taverns with their feet in the water. If you feel like it, continue your walk by climbing up to the small Saint-Nicolas chapel where you will have a beautiful view of the lighthouse built in 1897 and the gulf. The lake communicates with the sea through a channel, perfect for a swim.

the blue lake or voulagmeni 4 mile after Perahora. .la Greece in postcard, blue, and the sky, a small beach very soft sloping gravel sea water (the lake is linked to the sea) the tavern " LYDO" case layout has free lounge chairs and umbrellas. It serves the usual specialities from the seafront, it is good and clean. but there are also taverns of fish.
