This zoo (Αττικό Ζωολογικό Πάρκο/Attiko Zoologiko Parko) is the only one of its kind in Greece. Founded in 2000 by a Frenchman, it features over 300 species of exotic birds. One area features Greek animals: bears, wolves, foxes and Skyros ponies. Also worth seeing: dolphins, reptiles, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, llamas, jaguars and white lions. Guided tours and educational programs. Location: 11 km south-west of Rafina, 25 km east of Athens.
